Eedris Abdulkareem Eedris Abdulkareem needs no further introduction in the music industry. Born into a polygamous family, Eedris many years back dropped his patronymic surname for his new name, Abdulkareem which means ‘Servant of the generous God.’ The music star on several occasions has been jailed due to his controversial songs during the former president’s regime, Olusegun Obasanjo. Eedris Abudlkareem was shot into limelight in 2002, because of his hit single Mr. Lecturer. Eedris who is well known for insulting his country Nigeria, in most of his songs is out with another controversial single ‘They Don’t Understand’.
